St. Peter's is blessed with a talented group of folks who work hard to provide beautiful musical support to our worship services every week. The occasional use of a variety of instruments also provides a pleasing enhancement to their wonderful performances. Rehearsal of this talented group takes place after service on Sundays to prepare for Christmas Worship. All are welcome!
Christian education invites all people, young and old, to see and understand the world through the perspective of God’s truth. Our program at St. Peter's is not just about a Christian way of understanding. It is also about a Christian way of living. We offer Sunday School, Confirmation Class, Youth Group and Adult Forum that informs, invites questions, and inspires our community of faith to live, love and forgive according to the way of Jesus Christ.
This important committee provides oversight and maintenance of St. Peter's physical properties, equipment and makes recommendations to the Church Council when repairs or replacements are necessary. The committee also ensures that mowing, trimming, plowing and shoveling are provided and also recruits volunteers and/or vendors to provide these services as necessary. Scheduling and oversight of bi -Annual Property Clean Up Days are also the responsibility of this committee.
This fundraiser has become a flagship event for St. Peter's. We are known throughout the region for our well-organized, nicely priced, gently used clothing, household goods and home decor. A special feature of the sale is our homemade soups and cookies. The entire congregation joins in this week-long effort which takes place twice a year -- once in the Spring and again in the Fall. There is always a need for more hands, so please join us to help raise funds to support our church while enjoying fellowship and hard work to benefit St. Peter's.
